Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving!

I definitely have TONS of things I am blessed with year round. Here's the short list of things I am thankful for this year

Our Vet
  • The Little Spotted Dog was one sick puppy a couple of weeks ago. My dog that is in constant motion was soooo lethargic. Then he started vomiting, then he started passing blood from his rear instead of the stuff that should come out of there. Two trips to our wonderful vet in 12 hours, one phone call, and one sleepless night and LSD is all better. Too bad his sister is now kinda sickly.
My co-workers
  • I'm not gonna lie, sometimes they can drive me nuts. But, most of the time, I work with a great group of people who are kind, and helpful, and a lot of fun to be around.
My family
  • Okay, my family drives me nuts 99% of the time, the best thing about them is, I drive them nuts 99% of the time, and they still love me!!! Of course my little puppies are pretty awesome too!

On the baby front, I have been taking a break from doing the temping this this month. I will continue to do the ovulation predictor kits. I just feel like we haven't be trying long enough to be that intense about it. When we first started trying, I had visions of telling everyone at Christmas. That's not going to happen, so my next vision is having my baby in September, so that means this would have to be our month for that. We'll see!!

Nearing the end of cycle 3!

I'm feeling a little more.....confident?..... less hopeless?...... Anyway, I'm feeling better about this whole baby thing. I was a little sad because, when we started trying for our little C, my doctor told me she guessed it would take us about 3 months to get pregnant. As that 3 month mark is coming around, I am getting a little anxious. With me being overweight and J's past history with "supplements" in high school, I worry about us not having an easy time.

As far as how this month is going, my "friend" is due anytime from 3 days ago to about 4 days from now depending on which way I count it. My symptoms are little to none. I'm a little more tired than usual, and I have had a little cramping off and on. Nothing to get excited about at ALL. Hopefully I have good news to report next week!
